For newborn or weaning puppies, Beaphar Lactol Puppy Milk is a whole milk supplement enhanced with superior amino acids imported. Beaphar Lactol has saved the lives of countless young animals for over 100 years. Enriched with DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid), which has been shown to help cognitive development and vision. Made from easily digested whey protein. Ultra-filtration concentrates the proteins, and a slow drying process during production preserves the protein molecules, making it more nutritionally valuable.
Directions for use: Using the scoop provided in the lid, add 31g (6 scoops approx.) of Beaphar Lactol Puppy Milk to 100 ml of warm, boiled water and stir until completely dissolved. Allow to cool until lukewarm (38°C or blood temperature). Can also be mixed with cold water for older animals. Once prepared, the milk can be kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours, but should be reheated to blood temperature for young animals prior to use. Always keep fresh drinking water available. It is impossible to give precise daily quantities for feeds due to variations in age, size and breed, so on-demand feeding is always recommended. Each kitten should be weighed regularly to ensure it is putting on weight and growing as expected. One liter of prepared Lactol contains approximately 1250 Kcals.
